(Corona, CA) – Today, the Eric Linder for Supervisor campaign announced earning the support of the Southern California Building Industry Association, Riverside County Chapter (BIA).  The BIA praised Eric for his record of working to find common sense solutions to the states housing issues.

The BIA represents builders, subcontractors, remodelers, designers, architects, and engineers – all working together to build communities for families to call home.

This endorsement adds to Linder’s already strong support from business groups including the Inland Valley Association of Realtors and the Inland Empire Business PAC.

“Eric Linder has spent the vast majority of his professional career working to help families achieve the American Dream of home ownership.  His experience and record of bringing people together to get things done, make him the right candidate for Riverside County and the best candidate to work with our industry,” said Bill Blankenship, Chief Executive Officer of BIA of Southern California – Riverside County Chapter

I am honored to receive the support of the BIA.  The BIA is an important partner that I am counting on to help find solutions for our housing needs.

Linder has a strong record of leadership in his community.  Before being elected to the State Assembly, he co-founded the Corona Taxpayers Association. As a member of the State Assembly, Eric Linder made public safety a top priority by fighting for adequate funding for law enforcement and championing measures to help give these professionals the tools they need. He has authored legislation to enact tougher penalties on sex offenders and ensure that truly dangerous criminals are not released early due to overcrowding.  In 2014, Crime Victims United of California named Eric Linder Legislator of the Year for leading the fight to hold organizations that have turned a blind eye to sexual abuse accountable.
