The Short Version

I served in the California State Assembly from 2012 to 2016. Now I build AI systems that help political campaigns, PACs, and government affairs firms operate at scale without scaling headcount.

Why AI + Politics?

I spent four years in the building watching talented staff drown in constituent emails, bill analysis, and scheduling chaos. The tools existed to fix it — they just weren't being used. After leaving office, I built a government affairs consulting practice. Same story: too much manual work, not enough hours.

In 2024, I started AutomatedTeams to solve this for real. We build AI systems that handle the operational grind — donor research, email follow-up, call transcription, content generation — so campaigns can focus on the work that actually wins races.
